Play Time (My Sandbox & Frog Pool Adventure)

To start off this great play day, momma made some chocolate chip pancakes this morning and judging from the below craziness and how quickly they disappear off daddy’s plate, trust me, they are quite delicious!!

Eat enough of them, and you too can be the proud owner of a sizeable, chocolate chip pancake belly like yours truly!! Say… when are we heading outside to the sand and water?BRING ON THE WATER!! This way to the sandbox and pool fun!! Oh yeah… mom decided to put a shirt on me. Evidentally, I seem to lack skin pigmentation… like my daddy.

Yeah, this sandbox action is fun and all, but I see the pool over yonder, and it looks a bit lonely over there by itself. What'd ya say, we get this baby wet?

Nice... I'm liking the new pool... thanks mom and dad!!

Seriously Dad, you gotta put down the camera and get in here... the water's great!!
Take one look at this ivory baby and tell me he's not having a ton o' fountain fun!!

Mesquite Rodeo or Bust?!?!

On May 17th, we joined up with the Rowe's and Bertrand's at the Mesquite Rodeo. I have to admit that I have a slight crush on Emmy and Kennedy, so I was game for the adventure.

Mom did the best she could on short notice to "Gussy me up" like a little Cowboy. Sandals would have to do, becuase we couldn't find any boots. Emmy and Kennedy looked so cute in there little handmade Cowgirl shirts. Courtney is so creative!

We saw lots of Cowboys and Horses!!

I hope we go back soon so that I can ride a pony! Mom and Dad thought I was too young this time, but my friends rode with their daddys' help!

Emmy and her daddy!
Kennedy and her daddy!
Me and my daddy! Aren't we handsome?

We had a great time! Mommy said I was a really good boy the entire time. The rodeo lasted 2 hours past my bedtime and I talked and played almost all the way home. I started dozing the last 5 minutes, but can you blame a guy--it was almost 11:00.

Daddy, can we go again sometime late summer?

P.S. I forgot to mention that Emmy gave me a kiss and hug at the end of the night. I think she is sweet on me, too!

Family Picnic

Today we all headed to the park for a picnic. We had so much fun and the weather was perfect!
Me and mommy getting things prepared for our picnic lunch!!
If these aren’t photos of a hungry baby ready to get to a grubbin’, I don’t know what is!!

Milk does me good!
See daddy feeding the baby…

Pardon me… this baby ain’t full yet!!

Time for a post meal work-out!!

Hey Daddy, put down that camera and start burning some calories with me!!

Ticklin’ Time: mommy and daddy seemed to get tickled more than me when mommy would tickle me with her feet… I get the giggles just thinking about it!!

Tell me this baby ain’t havin’ a blast!! By the way, when I’m really feelin’ the good vibes sometimes I tend to get a baby growl face goin’ so don’t let it scare ya!!

Thanks Mommy and Daddy for the good time!! I just had to hug mommy to let her know how much fun I had today… ok Daddy, put the camera down. It’s your turn!

Mother's Day '08

We met my Grandma Sally, Grandpa Tom and Aunt Kelley for lunch. It was at P.F. Changs which I am told has good food. I think the cuisine is a bit much for my baby palate at this point, but I was content (so long as I was next to mommy and daddy) to observe…

Tender moments of me and mommy while waiting for our food…

The baby buffet… I count 4 different kinds of food especially for yours truly… though I don’t consider myself too picky…

Aunt Kelley and I catching-up….
Grandpa Tom and I playing hide and seek…
Me and mommy after the meal… can you see me fighting the yawn?
Daddy, Grandma Sally and me…
NEXT…. It was home for some fun in the sandbox…
Of course, at this point, I’m not a sandbox veteran, so I am still a bit unsure of the sand…
After a few minutes, it was time to get to work…
Filler ‘up Daddy… needin’ some sand in my wheel-barrow.
Good times… every baby should have his/her own sandbox. Can life get any better? Happy Mother’s Day Mommy!!! Love, Nate and Daddy!!
